Terms of use

These terms are between you and FyahFinds, Trinidad and Tobago (“FyahFinds”, “we”). By making an account or using the site you agree to them.

What FyahFinds is

FyahFinds is a place where people and stores show things for sale. We are a venue only. We do not own, check, hold, ship or sell the items, and we are not a party to any sale. Buyers and sellers make their own deals, and pay and meet each other directly. Read our safe trading tips.

Accounts

• You must be at least 13 to have an account, and you must give your real date of birth. Giving a false date of birth is a reason for us to close your account.
• Chat is for people 16 and over. Selling is for people 18 and over.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

Selling

• You must be 18 or over and accept the seller terms. While we are starting up, selling may be limited to approved stores and invited sellers.
• You are responsible for your listings: they must be true, show the real item, and follow our prohibited items list and the law.
• You are responsible for your sales, your prices, any taxes, and for delivering what you promised.
• “Approved store” means we checked an application and approved it. It is not a guarantee about the store or its items.

What you may not do

No scams, fake or stolen goods, harassment, spam, or anything illegal. No sharing other people’s private details. No trying to break or overload the site.

Reports and moderation

Anyone logged in can report a listing, a person or a chat. We may hide, remove or restore listings, warn people, and suspend or close accounts. We tell you what we decided and why. To appeal, email support@fyahfinds.com with your account email and what happened. There is no in-app appeal yet.

Our responsibility

We try to keep the site working and safe, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, FyahFinds is not responsible for sales between users, for items, or for losses from them.

Content you post

You keep your rights to your photos and text. You allow us to show them on the site and in previews and emails about your listing, for as long as they are posted.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your privacy page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Law and changes

These terms follow the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. We may update them, and will tell you about changes that matter.
